1. Who We Are
ConvertBag is operated by KodSanat ("we", "us", "our"), the legal entity responsible for this service. ConvertBag provides an online video file conversion service accessible at https://convertbag.com. The service allows users to convert video files between common formats directly in their browser.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using ConvertBag, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
3. Description of Service
ConvertBag is a web-based tool that converts video files between supported formats. The service is available to both registered and anonymous users, subject to usage limits. Paid subscription plans offer higher file size limits, more conversions, and priority processing.
Converted files are stored temporarily and deleted automatically after a short window (currently 2 minutes after conversion completes). We do not retain your files beyond that window.
4. Account Registration
You may use ConvertBag without an account, subject to free-tier limits. To access paid features, you must create an account and subscribe to a paid plan.
You are responsible for:
- Providing accurate registration information
- Maintaining the security of your password
- All activity that occurs under your account
You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. Notify us immediately at support@convertbag.com if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree to use ConvertBag only for lawful purposes. You must not:
- Upload files you do not have the right to convert or distribute
- Upload files containing malware, illegal content, or material that infringes third-party rights
- Attempt to circumvent usage limits or abuse the service through automated scripts, bots, or proxies
- Interfere with or disrupt the service or its infrastructure
- Use the service to infringe copyright, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or copy any part of the service
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules without prior notice.
6. Subscriptions and Billing
Paid plans are billed on a recurring monthly basis through our payment processor, Paddle. By subscribing, you authorise recurring charges to your payment method at the then-current plan price.
- Prices are shown on the pricing page and may change with reasonable notice
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date
- Downgrades or cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period
- We do not offer prorated refunds for unused time within a billing period unless required by law

7. Service Availability
We strive to keep ConvertBag available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The service is provided on shared hosting infrastructure and may experience downtime for maintenance or due to factors outside our control.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue features of the service at any time, with or without notice.
8. Intellectual Property
ConvertBag and all related software, logos, and content are owned by us or our licensors. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the service for its intended purpose.
You retain all rights to the files you upload. By uploading a file, you grant us a temporary, limited licence to process it solely for the purpose of completing your conversion request. We claim no ownership over your content.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that conversions will be error-free, that output quality will meet any specific standard, or that the service will be available without interruption.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, ConvertBag and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of — or inability to use — the service, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, or loss of files.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these terms or your use of the service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the three months preceding the claim.
11. Termination
You may close your account at any time from your account settings page. We may suspend or terminate your access at any time if we reasonably believe you have violated these terms or are abusing the service.
Upon termination, your account data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Any active subscription will not be automatically refunded unless required by applicable law.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes by email or via an in-app notice. The date at the top of this page reflects when the terms were last updated.
13. Governing Law
These terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of the jurisdiction where we operate, to the extent permitted by law.
